How to Order

From specification to delivery — the Cedarland ordering process.

Cedarland is a made-to-order timber processing service — not a stock yard. Every order is custom processed to your exact requirements. Here's how it works, from your first quote request through to delivery.
01

Request a Quote

Tell us what timber you need.

Submit a Quote Request or Specification Inquiry. Where possible, include timber species, required quantities, lengths, dimensions, finish or profile, moisture requirements, machining requirements, pre-staining or pre-priming requirements, and your delivery location. Our team reviews the requirements and emails you a quotation for untreated, naturally durable timber — processed to your required length, size and finish, including freight.

02

Review Your Quote

Check the specification, processing and freight.

Review the emailed quotation. Accept it as provided, or email us with any changes or amendments required. We will update the quotation where needed and confirm the final requirements with you.

03

Accept & Pay

Accept the quote and receive your invoice.

Once the quotation is accepted, we email you an invoice for payment. When the required payment or deposit is received, we begin processing the timber to your requirements as specified on the paid invoice. Processing does not commence until payment is received.

04

We Process Your Timber

We process your timber to the requirements on your paid invoice.

We process untreated, naturally durable timber to the requirements specified on your paid invoice. Standard indicative lead times are below — lead times are indicative and can vary depending on timber availability, processing requirements, freight, and the size or complexity of the order.

05

Order Updates

We keep you informed throughout the process.

We keep you updated on the progress of your order throughout processing and delivery. Where possible, we advise when your timber is being processed, being finished or coated, ready for dispatch, and booked for freight.

06

Freight & Delivery

Your completed order is dispatched to your nearest suitable depot or site where possible.

Once the order is complete, we arrange freight to your closest suitable freight depot or directly to site where possible. The delivery method depends on your location, access, and the nature and size of the order. Full payment is required before the completed order is dispatched on the truck.

Lead Times

Plan your programme.

Lead times depend on the availability of the required timber and the processing requirements of each individual order. For the fastest possible turnaround, contact Cedarland early and provide your complete timber specifications and required delivery date. If the required timber is not currently in stock, additional time may be required to source and transport suitable material before processing can begin.
